At the end of the day, the president’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and end the DACA program in which more than 800,000 people who came to the United States as children can still get work permits remains the single biggest economic crisis facing the country.
President-elect Donald Trump is expected to announce his cabinet later this week, and the first members of his cabinet will be announced Wednesday.
“I know that President Trump is going to announce a very, very big Cabinet this week,” O’Reilly said.
“So, he needs to have a plan, he’s going to have to have some plan to deal with this problem.
And, I think, he ought to be able to do that in a very short period of time.
But it’s just so frustrating for those who have been impacted by DACA, because they’re not going to be getting a lot of the things that they were promised when they came here, like health care and so forth.”
The O’REILLY REPORT airs weeknights at 10 p.m.
ET on Fox News Channel.
