The Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms on a trade involving tight end Matt Cassels, according to a source with knowledge of the deal.
Cassels has been a free agent since last season, and the Titans have been active in free agency this offseason.
He is set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
The deal includes a fifth-year option for Cassels.
The team also re-signed receiver Jeremy Maclin and linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
Cassel has 11 catches for 146 yards in 14 games for the Titans this season, but he has only had eight catches in the last two weeks.
Cassell was selected No. 1 overall by the Titans in the 2014 draft.
The Titans were a wild-card team in the AFC championship game last season.
Casse has seven catches for 88 yards in the season opener.
